Private Property Owner Requests to Amend the TMSA and FSA - Application
Subsection 7 of Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 278.0272 describes the bodies that can amend the Regional Plan as Reno, Sparks, Washoe County, the Regional Planning Commission (RPC), and the Regional Planning Governing Board (RPGB). Members of the public have the right at any time to petition any of these five bodies to consider sponsorship of their request. In order for the RPC to consider a private property owner's request, it adopted a process based on the evaluation of criteria that promote the goals and policies of the Truckee Meadows Regional Plan.Download RPC Resolution 06-10 (PDF)

In order to request RPC consideration of a proposal to amend the boundaries of the TMSA or FSA, the following must be completed and returned to the Regional Planning Agency:
- two original TMSA FSA applications containing signed original affidavits
- six duplicate applications (photocopies)
